Students will collaborate with the members of their group to conrm and examine the measurements and their results and will present a summary in a report. 2 : Students will perform the actual load operation test of the induction motor. Before driving the induction motor, students should rmly conrm once again whether circuits are correctly assembled, referring to the manual of the experimental procedure. 3 : By actually handling equipment during the experiments, students will attain a deeper understanding of subjects that, at rst, seem to be dicult for them.1 : Students will solve problems of quantum mechanics and statistical mechanics themselves. During the exercise class, two teaching assistants (TAs) will be present and will provide detailed guidance to each student. 2 : Students should try to solve problems by themselves without being given the answers from the beginning. 3 : Professors will also provide guidance to each student. 4 : Students should rst conrm their answers on their own and then submit their notes. To achieve systematic understanding of electrical and electronic engineering, students learn about semiconductor devices, transistor characteristics and amplication circuits, electric devices (transformers, three-phase induction motors), and AC circuits, which are important topics common to specialized elds of electrical and electronic engineering, through experiments. In the experiments, students are required to have a good grasp of the basic principles, perform experiments in collaboration with group members, actively work on their own initiative, and consider and discuss the procedures and results.ere are classes involving exercises and experiments in close relation to what students learned in lectures on physics. On the basis of the curriculum policy of the department and a deep understanding of physics and mathematics, students will acquire knowledge regarding materials, devices, and energy in physics, and will gain the ability to create new functions and innovative improvements of existing technologies.Electrical and Electronic Engineering Lab. 2(Compulsory elective course in the Department of Engineering and Applied Sciences)Exercises of Physics Lab. 2(Compulsory elective course in the Department of Engineering and Applied Sciences) 21
